Having a successful Black Woman’s Business in the city and county of San Francisco for over 20 years is no small feat. Learn how these women started their businesses, won city contracts, remained sustainable, and hired people from their own communities. This conversation will not only inspire you to dream of starting your own business, but will reveal tools of survival and success.

With films honoring veterans, the San Francisco Black Film Festival will screen its publicist Jackie Wright's film about the impact of the Vietnam War on families with a fifty year look that starts at the reburial of her war hero father and her mother at Arlington National Cemetery and concludes with a visit to Vietnam.
