Annual Frederick Roberts Scholarship Program Seeking Applications - Deadline May 15th

The members of the California Legislative Black Caucus are excited to launch its annual Frederick Roberts Scholarship program application. 

We invite our community partners to share this scholarship application far and wide to graduating high school seniors throughout California. The scholarship application deadline is May 15th.

In the name of Frederick Roberts, the first African-American legislator in California, the CLBC scholarship program was established to assist deserving graduating high schools students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.

To help with the completion of a successful application, below we have provided preparation information and a list of requirements that must be included with all application submissions.

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING:

□ Essay (included in Application)

□ Recommendation Letters

□ Certified copy of Transcript

□ College Acceptance Letter
