The National Coalition of 100 Black Women San Francisco Chapter &  Miracles of Faith's Jazz Benefit with Ricardo Scales Launched "Shoes for Survivor" to Help Hurricane Survivors
The San Francisco NCBW is asking the public to Donate Financially to buy New 
"Shoes for Survivors" to Step Into their New Beginnings!  
Miracles of Faith is Also Accepting Donations of Needed Items 
and Financial Support! 
  
San Francisco-The San Francisco Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. helped launched the "Shoes for Survivors" drive as Miracles of Faith in Oakland hosted its Jazz Benefit Friday, September 1, 2017 over the Labor Day Weekend to help the survivors in the path and wake of Hurricane Harvey

to a surprise performance by Houston based Donyale Renee, a storm refugee on her way back from Europe stranded by Harvey...
Reverend Greggory Brown, Senior Pastor of Miracles of Faith, greets Donyale Renee of Houston, a refugee from the storm & a surprise audience member, with Ricardo Scales at Miracles of Faith Jazz Benefit and "Shoes for Survivors" launch for Harvey Survivors. Donyale sang a prophetic Bill Whithers' "Lovely Day"  to inspire the audience and encourage the Harvey survivors. Better Days Are Ahead_
to a presentation by Cynthia Moten, representing President of the San Francisco Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Dr. Maxine Hickman, initiating the "Shoes for Survivors" campaign...
Reverend Brown showed audience how to package toiletries, socks and other items that will be shipped by partners coming on board to help with the "Shoes for Survivors" campaign.
to the great music by Bay Area Musicians that included: Ricardo Scales, Kymberly Jackson, Rhonda Benin, Brondom Reems, & Samara among other gifted and talented musicians....
It was the launch of a wonderful community celebration with San Franciscans and East Bay residents having a joyful time to pay tribute to the survivors of Harvey.
 
Jennifer Cohen, Reverend Everrett and Mrs. Cohen & Guest were among the "Shoes for Survivors" attendees at Miracles of Faith in East Oakland. (Yes, Family of Supervisor Malia Cohen).
