Mourning Due to Violence: Dr. King, Samantha Josephson, Nipsey Hussle & Other News in W.E. Community Spotlight

American Violence took the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., 51 years ago. He was remembered April 4, 2019 as the nation mourns the recent high visibility violent deaths of a South Carolina student and Rapper & Community Leader Nipsey Hussle; The Bay Area mourns Father Jay Matthews, the pastor and friend of slain U.S. journalist, Chauncey Bailey, who died of a heart attack at the age of 70.  W.E. gives tribute and shares other community news.

Samantha Josephson Deeply Missed

Father, Family and Friends mourn college student Samantha Josephson who died at the hands of a fake Uber Driver in South Carolina. God bless this family impacted by this unbelievable violence steeped in deception. You are missed Nipsey Hussle. God bless your family! Your death made me think of slain journalist Chauncey Bailey and Father Matthews passing also brought Chauncey to mind. Father Jay was his pastor and gave the eulogy at Chauncey's funeral in 2007.  Chauncey Bailey was the first American journalist to be killed on U.S. soil.
