Community\Civil Society Imperative.  The impacts of climate change are increasing the frequency and intensity of disasters.  Individuals, families, and communities must take a proactive approach and behaviors to save lives, their communities, their culture and heritage.

As members of BEMA International you are addressing all aspects of the issues of the inequities in global health, and impacts of climate change on communities of color, communities at risk, marginalized and vulnerable populations by your actions for directly and indirectly.

It showed as you come together to address the devasting effects of COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021 to the issues of services, vaccinations, food distribution, housing, and addressing both physical and mental health in our communities with less or no fundingWe survived.

Do not stop the momentum.  Continue helping each other and addressing the issues from both pandemics and the impacts of climate change at the lowest level, the community level.  Stay involved.

What is COP26? How the pivotal UN conference could avert global climate 'catastrophe'

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/09/23/world/what-is-cop26-glasgow-un-climate-conference-cmd-intl/index.html

What is COP26?

COP is short for the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Climate Change, which is an event that takes place annually, though it was postponed last year because of the pandemic. World leaders do attend, but a lot of the discussions take place among ministers and other high-level officials working on climate issues. The 26 signifies that this is the group's 26th meeting.
