"AS WE GREET 2022 " by Bay Area Journalist Barbara Rodgers
December 31, 2021

Itís the very last day of December
and no doubt we all still remember
how we thought '21
would be oh so much fun
but Covid said, ďNope, Iím not done.Ē
So once again we all do our best
to make merry, despite wearing masks
and with our fingers crossed
our fears we try to toss
hoping '22 will not be a year lost.
So to all who are reading this now
Youíve survived, though you may not know how
But as long as weíre here
Letís send up a rousing cheer
That 22 will be our very best year!!
