WTVM's Dee Armstrong & Former Colleague Jackie Wright Both 'Military Brats' Talk Film & Family

Veteran Journalist Dee Armstrong talks to Jackie Wright about her Vietnam War related film "Love Separated in Life…Love Reunited in Honor," a love story in the midst of war after highlighting Hulu's new series "Reasonable Doubt" on a recent WTVM "Midday" segment.

COLUMBUS, GEORGIA-Former award-winning colleagues of WTM Television in Columbus, Georgia reunited to discuss a military-related documentary that would appeal to the audience of the station that includes Fort Benning, Georgia. Both Military Brats, veteran journalist Dee Armstrong, who currently hosts the weekday show, " Midday" and former WTVM reporter, Jackie Wright, a San Francisco and Dallas based public relations professional with international work experience through collaboration with the Durban International Film Festival and NOSACONN Inc. (New Orleans South Africa Connection), talked this week about the challenges of military life.

Serendipitously, the segment on Wright's film "Love Separated in Life…Love Reunited in Honor, co-produced with siblings U.S. Army Veteran Joe N. Wright (8/15/1955-2/23/2022- https://www.lovereunited.org/in-memoriam), Stanley Wright and Phyllis Cameron, followed Armstrong's segment on Hulu's Onyx Collective "Reasonable Doubt " featuring actors McKinley Freeman and Monty Bell. They spoke about the unique stories of the new series that was brought to Hulu by a pilot directed by Kerry Washington, who was catapulted to fame by Shonda Rhimes' "Scandal." The WTVM segment this week was on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. New episodes or "Reasonable Doubt" premiere on Tuesdays on Hulu.
