Congratulations to CAROL FOSTER who has been appointed to Hercules Capital board of directors, a specialty finance company to venture growth, pre-IPO and M&A stage companies backed by venture capital firms. Ms. Foster has also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at SharesPost, a leading provider of liquidity solutions to late-stage, private growth tech companies. Prior to joining SharesPost, Carol was CFO of PENSCO, a custodian of $15 billion in alternative assets. Carol has been an executive team member in leading investment banking and asset management firms and has deep experience in the alternative asset space. She has held positions at Pantheon Ventures, Calera Capital, Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs and Accenture.

Today, Mayor London N. Breed and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development announced a new outdoor concert series in San Francisco. Program will fund outdoor music performances in parks and plazas across San Francisco beginning in May.
Tanisha Nicole Cyprian, a talented emerging business owner at the time of her enrollment in the program that teamed the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. San Francisco Chapter and the City of San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, continues to grow and flourish recently adding magazine feature appearances to her business strategy. Jackie Wright, CEO of Wright Enterprises conceived and developed the program that gives women well paid training opportunities, is pleased to get reports of women who have benefited from the experience.
