On Breaking Free from Nicotine Day, we honor and celebrate African Americans who have chosen to break free from nicotine's harmful effects and resist the tobacco industry's predatory marketing practices by saying "No" to Tobacco. Saying "No" to Tobacco is a powerful statement of self-care and refusal to let big tobacco dictate their lives.

We are AMPLIFY! the African American/Black Statewide Coordinating Center charged with educating and engaging our community to eradicate the number one killer of Black people-deaths caused by tobacco and nicotine addiction. We amplify the voices, cultural wisdom and collective strength of our people to build strong healthy communities.
